Germany Mobility – Lünen, Germany (March 2025)
The first mobility of our Erasmus+ Digital Wellbeing Project took place in Lünen, Germany, hosted by Heinrich-Bußmann-Schule in March 2025. Students and teachers from Türkiye, Germany, and Bulgaria came together to explore digital wellbeing and develop healthier, more balanced digital lifestyles through interactive workshops and collaborative activities.
During the mobility, participants attended workshops on digital wellbeing, cyber safety, responsible social media use, preventing cyberbullying. They also learned daily technology planning, effective time management, setting healthy screen time limits, and building conscious digital habits to achieve a better balance between online and offline life. Through the Media Scouts NRW programme, students gained practical skills in protecting personal data, recognizing fake news, and becoming responsible digital citizens.
The programme also included digital detox activities, where students reflected on their own technology use, explored the effects of excessive screen time on physical and mental health, and experienced enjoyable offline alternatives. In addition, participants joined taekwondo training, visited the German Football Museum in Dortmund, and took part in cultural and team-building activities that strengthened communication, intercultural understanding, and European cooperation. These experiences encouraged students to adopt healthier digital routines while developing lifelong personal and social skills.
