Turkiye (Bergama) Mobility
The second mobility of the Erasmus+ Digital Wellbeing project was hosted by Bergama Cumhuriyet Anatolian High School in Bergama, Türkiye, from 21 to 26 September 2025. During this international learning activity, students and teachers from the partner countries participated in a comprehensive programme focusing on digital wellbeing, media literacy, cybersecurity, digital citizenship, responsible social media use, and combating misinformation, disinformation, and fake news.
Throughout the mobility, participants attended interactive workshops where they learned how to identify reliable information, verify online sources, recognize AI-generated content, protect their digital identities, and critically evaluate digital media. Practical activities, discussions, group work, and collaborative learning sessions encouraged participants to strengthen their critical thinking, communication, and digital literacy skills.
As one of the project's major outcomes, the international project team prepared a Digital Literacy Booklet containing practical information and guidance on media literacy, cybersecurity, misinformation, disinformation, fake news, conscious social media use, and digital wellbeing. The booklet was designed as a long-term educational resource for students, teachers, and the wider school community.
The mobility programme also included digital detox activities, sports events, intercultural teamwork, traditional Turkish Ebru art workshops, and educational visits to Pergamon Ancient City, Asklepion, Ephesus, and Cunda Island. These cultural experiences strengthened intercultural dialogue, European values, teamwork, and mutual understanding among participants.
The Türkiye mobility successfully combined digital education with cultural exchange, enabling participants to develop essential 21st-century skills while promoting responsible digital behaviour and active European citizenship.
